Hogans One Juice 7.4% Cider 750ml Bottle

“This is Hogan's bottle conditioned cider made for the One Juice collaborative adventure with Ross Cider, Pilton Cider, Olivers Cider and Little Pomona.

Apple and hard candy on the nose, with a green and savoury touch of fruit skin in the background. All wild and juicy on the palate, with pineapple, treacle sweetness.

So our take on the OneJuice project was to pasteurise the cider apple juice (80/20 Dabinett/Browns) to remove the wild yeast and then ferment with a pure culture of Brettanomyces in tank. Once fermentation was complete, the cider was filtered and bottled with Champagne yeast and a small amount of sugar for conditioning. Bottle conditioned. “

This is a lively bottle, so have a glass ready to pour.
