Hagloe Crab is an 18th century apple variety from Gloucestershire. Thought lost, but rediscovered. This is Ross’ second vintage from young trees. Bulmers Norman is a widely grown bittersweet. The two together bring bright freshness, notes of peach and gentle tannins.
Ross’ is a multi-generational orchard-based cidery in Ross-on-Wye, having taken on the land in the 1930s. The majority of their cider and perries are limited edition batches reflective of the season they were pressed. Maturation in bottles adds in further wonderful dimensions of expressions to these UK grown, harvested, pressed and full juice drinks.
