Marco Merli Zero do Babo 75cl Bottle Rose

Situated in the magnificent Altotiberini Hills just north of Perugia, Italy. Marco Merli runs a 7 hectares artisan wine making business. Marco inherited the vines from his father Enzo, who had purchased them in 2000 from a property where Marco’s grandfather had worked.

He works with native varieties such as Sangiovese and Trebbiano, but also Grechetto, Malvasia nera, Ciliegiolo and many others, in a true work of passion. Marco Merli uses low intervention, aka as natural methods as possible.

A rosè wine that perfectly expresses the varietal characteristics of its original grape. It’s delightfully fruity and floral, with violet and marasca sour Morello cherry notes.

Variety – Malvasia nera 40%, Sangiovese 40%, Ciliegiolo 20%
